  • 1988
    Prima was established by Ron Lewis as a residual stock trader under the name ‘Prima Trading (Biscuit) Co Ltd’.
  • 1992
    Prima changed its name to ‘Prima Quality Foods plc’ and relocated to Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire.
  • 1999
    Prima was acquired by Michael Beardsmore (Chairman), John Payne (Company Secretary) and Peter Widdowson (Managing Director) who relocated the company to Worcester.
  • 2002
    Prima launched Tetley One Cup into the discount trade.
  • 2014
    Prima relocated to Southport and Jim Griffiths was appointed Managing Director.
