History

1988 Prima was established by Ron Lewis as a residual stock trader under the name 'Prima Trading (Biscuit) Co Ltd'.

1992 Prima changed it's name to 'Prima Quality Foods plc' and relocated to Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire.

1996 Peter Widdowson (the current MD) joined as a sales agent.

1999 Prima was aquired by the current owners: Michael Beardsmore (Chairman), John Payne (Company Secretary) and Peter Widdowson (Managing Director) who relocated the company to Worcester.

2002 Prima launched Tetley One Cup into the discount trade.

2005 Prima launched the 18 pack of Pink n White Mallow Biscuits

2006 Prima took over the full sales, marketing and distribution of Highlander snacks.

2009 Jim Griffiths appointed as Sales Director

2010 Prima took over the full sales, marketing and distribution of Duncans of Deeside products.
